Working in healthcare and behavioral health fields is harder than ever. Wisdom, Wellbeing, and Peer Support Training (WWPST) provides a comprehensive approach to fostering resilience skills for healthcare, behavioral health, and related human services staff. WWPST is training initiative to help build the capacity for resilience and team member support at the individual, workplace/practice setting and institution levels.
The WWPST Introduction provides an overview of the wisdom and well-being principles, including increased awareness and skill building foster resilience and peer support, including the early recognition of potential stress injury of a co-worker or loved one. One of the underlying principles of the wisdom and well-being approach is that we all will experience stress in the workplace. It is how we work together, and how we can thrive within stressful work environments, that makes the work we do meaningful and sustains teams and individual for the long haul. This 9-minute Orientation Video provides an overview of the training.

After completing the training, 1 CE credit can be claimed through the UVA Office of CME. Training participants may also become eligible for Tier 2 Wisdom and Wellbeing Peer Support Training for team champions and leaders. Instructions will be provided at the end of the training.
