Tipping the Pain Scale at the Betty Queen Center in Louisa. Tipping the Pain Scale is a feature-length documentary film that follows individuals experiencing addiction as they embark on personal journeys to develop and employ new, innovative, and often controversial solutions to society’s systemic failures in addressing the problem of addiction. The film highlights stories of a U.S. Cabinet member, an NFL Player, a spoken word artist, and a harm reduction activist, who are working to improve not only their own lives but also others.
- Coalition partners will have tables of free materials set up from 6:30.
- Film screening starts at 7:00 PM
- Free craft activities, Narcan, HIV and Hep C testing, safer sex Items, and various giveaways during event.
